Creamy Garlic Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

This meal takes very little preparation and is so creamy and delicious the entire family will go crazy for it. We served it with steamed broccoli topped with a dusting of parmesan cheese but it's so adaptable, it'll be great with most anything you choose.

Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp peeled, deveined and tails removed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 16 oz fettuccini noodles
- ½ cup butter
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 7 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
Directions
In a medium skillet over medium high heat, add shrimp and olive oil. Cook the shrimp 1-2 minutes per side until they are opaque. Remove from pan and set aside.
In a large pot bring salted water to a boil, add the fettuccini and cook until al dente. Drain
Meanwhile, prepare sauce. Add butter to the skillet over medium heat, add minced garlic, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, cook for 30-45 seconds until the garlic is fragrant. Add cream and cream cheese, cook over medium heat and whisk until melted. Add the grated parmesan cheese and let simmer until it starts to thicken. Add the pasta and shrimp, toss to coat.
Sprinkle with parsley for service
