Fanny Farmer Brownies

Classic, simple, slightly chewy brownies. Not fluffy, but not fudgy, just brownie perfection.

- 2 oz Unsweetened Baking Chocolate I like Baker's brand
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup All Purpose Flour
- ½ cup Pecans chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x9" baking dish.
Melt butter in a saucepan with chocolate.
Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, one at a time, vanilla, and salt.
Stir in flour and nuts.
Pour into baking dish, spreading evenly. Place in preheated oven and bake 25-30 minutes.
Test by inserting a toothpick, if it comes out clean and the edges are just pulling away from the baking dish, remove from oven.
If you're able to wait, let cool for 10-15 minutes before devouring.
